There are no workable ways to avoid color differences between two different batches of printing. You can reduce the color difference by keeping the various factors of the 2 printings the same as much as possible.
The color will become different because of the different batches of paper and ink, the ratio of ink, the printing machine, the printing master, printing speed; weather, temperature, humidity, Different machines for color measurement, roles of personnel for color confirmation, etc.
The colors do look not the same on different computers and cell phones because of the different screen settings. It is difficult to ensure that all the parameters and factors are 100% the same in two printings, so color differences will occur.
If it cannot be avoided, how to improve it and try to achieve color consistency?
1. Uniform color standards
Before printing, confirm with the customers, whether according to the customer’s sample, the Pantone color, or the colors instrument. Or the customer site to see the color, photo, or video confirmation.
2. Consistent raw materials.
Use the same batch of raw materials, including paper, ink, finishing film or oil, etc. Also keep the same supplier, paper, brand, and same period of production stock, The same ink formula, and the same percentage of different inks.
3. The printing environment is the same.
Use a printing factory, the same printing machine, and the same printing master, as well as the same weather, indoor temperature, humidity, other indoor environments, the same measuring instruments, printing speed, etc.
The best way is for the customer to come to the factory and confirm the color in person. And adjust the color to the customer’s satisfaction. But very often, this is inconvenient and too time and energy-consuming. Some customers think that they can take photos and videos to confirm, or even video call to see the color when confirmed. But the color of the sample in the photos and videos will still have some differences from the actual color, which is also inaccurate.

3.The whiteness of the raw material is not up to standard, yellowish and blue, and the printed color will deviate a lot.
4.The manuscript given by the customer is an RGB color system which is brighter, ours is CMYK color, and the printed-out color is darker.
5.The customer was not satisfied with the printed color and wanted to reprint it after the printing is done.
6.After the customer received the goods, he was not satisfied with the color of the paper box and paper bag
7.The customer wanted to update the manuscript, but it was already published.
8.The customer currently only has the manuscript and wants to see the actual printing result, whether it is the same as the manuscript, but the printing cost is too expensive.
