1 · Single-cup magnetic gift box — the DTC standard
The default for DTC wax brands: a magnetic-closure rigid box for one cup, gold-foil logo, EVA or moulded-pulp cradle. Feels like a gift the moment it is opened — and the cradle keeps glass off the board in transit.
2 · Three-cup window box — for boutique retail
For brands selling through boutiques and concept stores: a window carton showing all three cups, printed sleeve carrying the scent story. The window is drawn on the dieline before tooling so the labels stay visible on shelf.
3 · Six-cup rigid set box — for corporate gifting
For corporate gifting and seasonal sets: a rigid box with a moulded tray holding six cups in fixed positions, closed with a magnetic flap or a fitted lid. Trays are cut to the cup profile, so nothing shifts in transit.
4 · Sleeve + insert — for seasonal and limited runs
For seasonal drops and limited editions: a printed sleeve over a plain rigid box with a simple insert. The brand moment lives in the sleeve, so the next season costs a print run — not a new tool.
5 · Holographic and specialty finishes — for premium lines
For premium and gift-with-purchase lines: holographic board, soft-touch lamination and foil combinations, sampled before production so the finish is approved on the real substrate, not on screen.

Display vs. shipping: getting the balance right
- Retail display prioritizes shelf presence — window, open-top and strong graphic panels. We confirm the shelf depth and viewing angle before tooling.
- E-commerce shipping prioritizes protection — structural strength, a cradle cut to the cup profile, and flat-pack options that cut dimensional weight.
- Both: most brands run one display structure for boutiques and one shipping structure for DTC. We quote them as a pair so the tooling is shared where possible.
